Wordweaver is a new Namibian Publishing House which was launched in Windhoek on 17 March 2012. Unlike most existing publishing houses in Namibia who focus only on educational material, Wordweaver publishes a wide range of fiction genres. Joanne Hichens
Joanne Hichens holds a Masters degree in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town. She co-authored a crime novel, Out To Score (2006), has authored the teen novel, Stained, short-listed for the Sanlam Youth Literature award and published in 2009 as part of the Ransom Press Cutting Edge series. She has written for a number of magazines, newspapers and anthologies, and has edited various works including the first SA crime fiction short story collection Bad Company (2009).
