How to Order
Overview
ABC trades with hundreds of customers worldwide: libraries, booksellers and individual book buyers, in countries throughout the world.
ABC is a single source of supply for 124 African publishers. Centralised billing and shipping is from the UK or US; and from June 1st within Australia.
Titles are all available for immediate supply: they are permanently in stock through Print-on-Demand, or immediately available through a UK wholesaler.

Online Ordering
For orders using our website, we accept credit card payments only. Payment in North America is through PayPal and elsewhere through Google Checkout. To change region please use the "Change Currency" selector directly below the book's price.

eBooks and Electronic Content
African Books Collective, as well as print editions, also distributes electronic content on behalf of publishers.
eBooks in ePub format are available worldwide from a huge variety of retailers priced at $9.99/£6.99, simply click on "ebooks" to your left and browse the selection. To purchase an ebook click "buy ebook" and a popup window will appear. A selection of major retailers appear on the popup; click on your favourite to check out. If your favourite store is not included in our selection do not fear, it is likely you will find the ebook elsewhere by using the ePub ISBN or title on the popup to search where ever you like.
Libraries can order ABC distributed content for their collections through either Ebrary, MyiLibrary, EBSCO or Project MUSE.
Paperight also offer our digital content to individuals through their network of copy shops.
Adobe Digital Editions are available from numerous ebook retailers online. We recommend diesel ebook Store and Powells. Simply search for the title you are interested in to find it on any online retailer.

Africa orders are supplied trackable only. Charged at cost which can be supplied on request.

Returns Policy
All books are supplied on firm account, unless special sale-or-return has been agreed in advance. Full credit (including credit for return postage) will be given for defective copies/damaged copies supplied (unless a replacement is requested), wrong titles shipped or over-supplied.
Requests for returns will be considered in exceptional circumstances, and is at the discretion of ABC. No returns can be accepted for orders which have been pre-paid or invoiced on a pro-forma basis.
Returns will be not be accepted unless duly authorised, and original invoice number and date supplied are quoted on return authorisation requests. Return requests must be received within 90 days in the UK and Europe and 120 days elsewhere, from invoice date.
Books approved for return will only be accepted if they are in mint/saleable condition, unless originally received in damaged condition as set out above.

Credit Facilities
Orders are supplied firm and by pro-forma invoice. Libraries, library suppliers and trade customers may exceptionally be supplied on open account, dependent on turnover and strict adherence to payment terms.
Orders from individuals must be accompanied by payment, including shipping.
Credit terms: (libraries and trade only)
If credit is exceptionally agreed, the terms are:
UK: 30 days net
Europe: 60 days net
North America: 90 days net
Rest of the World: 90 days net
Payment Options
Customers will be invoiced in £ Sterling; with the exception of customers in Japan, or on request, who will be invoiced in US Dollars.
£ Sterling invoices payment may be made:
By credit card: Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch.
By a cheque drawn on a UK bank account.
By BACS transfer direct to our bank. ABC will not accept bank charges: if remitting by direct bank transfer, bank charges (usually about £7.00) must be debited to the customer’s account. It is essential when remitting to quote the invoice number, and to forward remittance details under separate cover to ensure payment is applied.
USD invoices Visa, Mastercard, by dollar cheque drawn on a US bank account. By BACS transfer direct to our bank. ABC will not accept bank charges which must be debited to the customer’s account. Non-arrival of books
In the unusual event that books do not arrive, please contact ABC as soon as possible and within 2 month time limit, and we will investigate. Customers can request trackable shipping to be charged. ABC is unable to provide refunds for non-arrival of books if tracking shipping is not requested and paid.
