About the Authors

Alemayehu Hailu Gebre

Alemayehu Hailu Gebre, Director of the Adult and Nonformal Education Association in Ethiopia (ANFEAE) has many years experience in adult learning and project coordination and management. Alemayehu has a diploma in Agriculture and a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also holds a diploma in Community Development from the International Training Center of Hungary.

Njuguna Ndung'u

Njuguna Ndung’u is currently the Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya, he is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Nairobi and holds a PhD in economics from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Daniel Zerfu

Daniel Zerfu is a Senior Research Economist at the Development Research Department, African Development Bank. Before joining the Bank, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Economics, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
