About the Author

Rev. Chimwemwe Mitengo

Chimwemwe Peter Mitengo is a church minister serving with C.C.A. P., Blantyre Synod. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Malawi. He once worked as a secondary school teacher and later enrolled at Zomba Theological College where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Divinity in 2012. He was ordained as a minister of word and sacrament in 2012. He served in the Chingale area in Zomba West for four years. He later simultaneously served as the chaplain for Henry Henderson Institute at the heart of Blantyre Mission and a church minister for the Manase Congregation. From there he went for further studies at the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in the United States of America, where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Theology in 2022. He is currently the Executive Director at Theological Education by Extension in Malawi (TEEM).
