This book presents an objective but descriptive narrative of the three UPR process, including claims of progress in the promotion and protection of human rights made by the Government of Nigeria and counter claims of human rights gaps by United Nations entities and other civil society stakeholders. Data and facts presented in this book were drawn exclusively from national reports, UN reports and reports submitted to the HRC according to United Nations General Assembly Resolution 60/251.
