Abubakar Othman

Professor Abubakar Othman holds a PhD in Literary Psychoanalysis and teaches African poetry and Creative Writing at the University of Maiduguri. His published works include The Palm of Time (2000, Malthouse), The Passions of Cupid (2013 Kraftbooks), and Blood Streams in the Desert (2013 Kraftbooks)

Aisha Amdagas

Aisha Amdagas holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Maiduguri and hopes to pursue a Master's degree in Psychology someday. She is a teacher, a creative writer and a voracious reader. She is drawn to the beautiful city of Yerwa (Maiduguri) and hopes to tell more stories from the city. Love In A Hot Climate (2024, Malthouse) is her debut novel.
