The Kind Gang

Awazi Kati tells the story of his childhood and upbringing, and close relationship with his father, a kiosk small-businessman, and liberal Muslim, whom he admires and trusts. But when his father is accused of being a thief, and then pays for his crime with his life, Awazi is confronted with his father's own belief that people cannot be trusted, and his life changes radically.
