Andrew Lilley

Andrew Lilley is an associate professor the at the University of Cape Town, and assistant director of the South African College of Music where he lectures in jazz piano, theory and improvisation. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston where he studied with the celebrated hard bop pianist and composer Donald Brown, and with Enja recording artist Bruce Barth. He holds degrees from the University of Cape Town. He is a well-respected member of the South African musical fraternity and appears on numerous recordings with local and international artists.
