Francis Fanuel Lyimo

Francis Fanuel Lyimo,  is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He earned his B.A. (Educ.) (Hons.) and M.A. degrees in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Sociology and Rural Sociology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, United States of America. Francis Lyimo co-authored the book (2000) Race and Ethnicity in East Africa (MacMillan Press Ltd, Great Britain and St. Martin’s Press, Inc. USA), with Peter G. Forster and Michael Hitchcock.
