Patrício Vitorino Langa

Patrício Vitorino Langa is assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at the Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique, where he coordinates inter alia the Masters programme in higher education studies and development (MHESD). Dr Langa is the founder and Director of the Centre for Higher Education Studies and Development (CESD) in Maputo and the current president of the Mozambican Sociological Association (AMS). He is also the National Director for external evaluation in the National Council for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (CNAQ) and board member in the National Council of Higher Education (CNES) in Mozambique. His key research interests are in the areas of epistemology, sociology of (higher) education, social theory and higher education, higher education policy studies and higher education and development.
