Pigeon Press

Pigeon Press, Zimbabwe

An indie publisher, Pigeon Press is owned and operated from Bulawayo. The company specialises in the production of English-language books with an arts, archaeological, historical and tourism focus across Zimbabwe. New or revised titles appear at least twice a year. Proceeds from the sale of each book or item project go towards the community initiatives with whom the press works. The name 'Pigeon Press' comes from an appreciation of the fact that over many centuries, the pigeon has served all humanity as a messenger, both sacred and secular, often against incredible odds to the benefit of many.
