Beyond Inequalities 2005. Women in Zimbabwe

This study on women in Zimbabwe considers gender in a general socio-cultural context, and in relation to the prevailing political ideological framework in the country. It examines gender in the context of the current economic policies, the law, education, technology, health and the media. In particular, it reviews both progress and retrogression in the implementation of women’s rights between 1998 and 2004.
